This is my simple photo journal. I like to take pictures and once a month or more, I load them onto this blog so that we can remember some of our family highlights.

March-April

Spring Break was spent at home.
We did some spring cleaning and a little planting
to spruce up the front porch.

Several games of chess were played

We got to watch and love on my nephews while Corey and Bridgette headed to Sedona.
We can't wait for them to head out of town again.

We tried the zoo but apparently everyone in AZ was thinking the same thing so
we headed to the aquarium instead.

I finished Cole's first missionary book.

I "attempt" to arrange his emails and photos chronologically.

Meg was in her very first musical production at Actor's Youth Theater.
She played a "tart" in the Scarlet Pimpernel.
That was fun to try and explain
what a tart is- to Isaac.

She loved every bit of it and

we had a lot of fun  trying to get that "French Revolution" hair.

We celebrated Felix and Oscar turning the
big 45
by having the gang over for dinner....which means making pizzas.
We are a one hit band over here.

Everyone (including the bday boy) has their job getting it done.

Easter Egg Hunt
They keep getting bigger and bigger.  I think there were 4 phases of hunting this year.
Eggs in the house, the yard, down the street in an empty lot, and in the lake.

Volleyball
Ike played in a city league this Spring.
Tom and I are so so happy that he loves volleyball.
We really want to live vicariously through him.

I had the privilege of seeing sweet Sabrina arrive into this beautiful happy family.
My niece Molly asked me to take some pictures and I was so excited.
Just a glimpse of heaven.

Summer was in the high school musical
Thoroughly Modern Millie
She really comes alive on stage.

The day after the musical ended,
Summer went to her first Prom with her friend Cooper.

This was on our date night.  Ike and I went to dinner
and had our "Birds and the Bees" part 2 talk.
His face says it all.
